Experience English Summer Camp in South Korea
Experience English Summer Camp 2005 was organized in conjunction with the Good Samaritan Hospital, Handong University, and Sunlin College. English for Life was invited to teach English to 35 students, grades 2 – 6, focusing on a theme of “well being” with topics covering the body, sports, food, family, and friends
The two-week camp program ran July 25 – August 6, 2005. Classes took place on the Sunlin College campus Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
Three English majors from Korea universities and one Korea university student from the United States assisted Kim Carroll and all four performed above and beyond the call of duty! These TAs were Yeari Lee, Hyung in Shin, Yoo min Kim and Ga rim Park.
EFL extends its warmest thanks to Mr. Lee and the staffs of all who hosted this event and arranged every detail that made the Experience English Summer Camp a great success. Plans already are underway for Experience English Summer Camp 2006 to be held in Greenville, South Carolina.
